Rosa Payan Insurance Agency and other participating Farmers Insurance agencies are collecting gently used professional attire through Nov. 30.

More than one million soldiers will transition from the military into the civilian workforce over the next couple years. The clothing drive is designed to help veterans make a “great first impression” on their job interviews.

By donating gently used professional attire, the public can help veterans be prepared for their interviews.

Agencies will be accepting gently dry cleaned used dresses, dress shirts, coats, pants, ties, blazers, skirts and other professional attire.

Donations can be dropped off at the Rosa Payan Insurance Agency’s Suits for Soldiers Open House on Friday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The agency is at 409 Third Ave. S., Suite B, Kent.

Call 253-854-2066 or email agentrosap@gmail.com to locate the nearest dropoff location.
