Monday, July 8 is the deadline to register to vote or update voter registration information in time for the Aug. 6 primary election.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
King County Elections will mail primary ballots to all registered voters on July 17, so it\u2019s important that citizens register to vote and keep their address and other information, including their signature, updated.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Voters can check to make sure their registration information is current by:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Using My Voter Guide online<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Calling the Voter Hotline at 206-296-VOTE (8683)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Visiting King County Elections<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Voters who miss the July 8 deadline to update their registration should still contact the Elections office to update their information for future elections. King County residents not currently registered in Washington can register in person after July 8 at the Elections office through July 29.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
To be eligible to register to vote, you must be:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022 18 years old by election day (Aug. 6)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022 A United States citizen<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022 A legal resident of the state of Washington<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022 Not under the authority of the Department of Corrections<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
