{"id":23690,"date":"2016-03-28T13:22:54","date_gmt":"2016-03-28T20:22:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/gunfire-exchanged-sunday-on-kents-west-hill\/"},"modified":"2016-03-28T13:22:54","modified_gmt":"2016-03-28T20:22:54","slug":"gunfire-exchanged-sunday-on-kents-west-hill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/gunfire-exchanged-sunday-on-kents-west-hill\/","title":{"rendered":"Gunfire exchanged Sunday on Kent\u2019s West Hill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>Kent Police are still trying to sort out what appears to be a gang-related shooting on Sunday afternoon in the <a title=\"map\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/25600+29th+Ave+S,+Kent,+WA+98032\/@47.372243,-122.2988047,665m\/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x54905a2dc6b6685f:0xd7c42cbd8ed384a1\" target=\"_self\">25600 block of 29th Avenue South<\/a> on the West Hill.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Nobody appears to have been hit or injured during the gunfire exchange, said Kent Police spokeswoman Melanie Robinson in a Monday email.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Officers responded to a shooting at about 4:39 p.m. outside of a residence, just south of the Fred Meyer store. A man on foot, standing outside his home, exchanged gunfire with four people in a SUV. Police pursued the SUV which came to a stop at a dead end road at an undisclosed address.
