Catch \u201cA Fiddler\u2019s Feast,\u201d featuring Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas as well as Jay Ungar and Molly Mason at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26 at the Kent-Meridian Performing Arts Center, 10020 SE 256th St.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Fiddlers share the stage, delivering everything from Scottish dance music to a wide range of American roots genres, and tunes ranging from poignant to sizzling.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Fraser has long been regarded as Scotland\u2019s premier fiddle ambassador, and Haas is a talented, young, Julliard-trained cellist. Ungar and Mason achieved international acclaim when their performance of Jay\u2019s composition Ashokan Farewell became the musical hallmark of Ken Burns\u2019 \u201cThe Civil War\u201d on PBS.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Tickets are $28 for general admission, $25 for senior citizens and $15 for youth.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
