A memorial service for Washington State Trooper Tony Radulescu<\/a> is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, March 1 the ShoWare Center, 625 W James St\u00a0\u00a0Kent.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n According to a press release from the state patrol the public is welcome.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Radulescuis was shot and killed by Thursday by Joshua Blake, 28, during a traffic stop. Blake shot himself in the head Thursday morning inside a trailer on a rural South Kitsap property as a SWAT team closed in on him.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Blake had served time in prison following convictions in 2008 on meth charges, plus fourth-degree assault, malicious mischief and violation of a no-contact order. According to the state Department of Corrections, he was in prison for two-and-a-half years, followed by a period of community supervision beginning in March 2010.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
