The initial election night results posted on the King County Elections website showed a shortfall for Kent School District bonds and a thumbs up to the Kent Regional Fire Authority benefit charge. <\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Kent School District proposition for capital improvement and school construction general obligation bonds for $252,000,000 was falling short of the needed 60 percent approval. The results were 58 percent approval and 42 percent no.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Voters are approving the fire benefit charge for the Kent Regional Fire Authority by 64 percent to 36 percent.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
