He had earned a spot in the final round of 12 throwers when he took seventh in the qualifying round.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Conwell, 29, placed sixth with a throw of 202-7 at the 2008 Olympic Trials. He is a former University of Washington thrower.
