{"id":22459,"date":"2016-09-19T15:27:20","date_gmt":"2016-09-19T22:27:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/kentridge-swim-and-drive-team-hosts-fundraiser\/"},"modified":"2016-11-07T12:10:23","modified_gmt":"2016-11-07T20:10:23","slug":"kentridge-swim-and-drive-team-hosts-fundraiser","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kentridge-swim-and-drive-team-hosts-fundraiser\/","title":{"rendered":"Kentridge swim and drive team hosts fundraiser"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>The Kentridge girls swim and dive team needs the public&#8217;s help to stuff the truck.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The team &#8211; in conjunction with Clothing for the Cause &#8211; hosts a fundraiser Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. The public is invited to bring unwanted clothes, shoes, household linens, purses and belts to the school, 2430 SE 208th St.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Other items accepted are new and gently used towels, stuffed animals, hats, sheets, blankets, bedspreads and drapes. All items must be dry, clean and in a tied plastic bag.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Glass, breakables, electronics, pet beds, bed pillows, carpeting, throw rugs, uniforms and hotel linens will not be accepted.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Donated items will be re-worn, recycled and repurposed.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The swim team will be paid by the pound for everything they collect.
