The Seattle Thunderbirds have acquired right wing Zack Andrusiak and a third-round pick in the 2018 Bantam Draft for left wing Cavin Leth.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The 5-foot-11 and 177-pound Andrusiak, from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, has one goal and one assist in eight games for the Raiders this season.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Leth, 20, had three assists in five games with the T-Birds this season. He was acquired from the Swift Current Broncos for defenseman Sahvan Khaira on Jan. 4, 2016. In 36 regular season games with the T-Birds last season, Leth had six goals and seven assists for 13 point with 33 penalty minutes. Overall with the T-Birds and Broncos, Leth played in 74 regular season games and had 12 goals and 11 assists for 23 points with 64 penalty minutes. In the playoffs Leth had three goals and six assists for nine points in 15 games.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
By WHL rule teams are only allowed three 20-year old players on the roster. The T-Birds’ three 20-year old players are center Scott Eansor, left wing Ryan Gropp and goalie Rylan Toth.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
