The Washington Dental Service Foundation SmileMobile, which travels the state offering examination to children who might not otherwise have access to dental care, was in Kent this week.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The SmileMobile, a brightly painted 38-foot dental clinic on wheels, is hard to miss when it rolls into town. Sponsored by the Delta Dental of Washington and in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital, the SmileMobile provides dental care to children from low-income families.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The SmileMobile provided examinations to patients while parked at Kent Elementary School, 24700 64th Ave. S.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The SmileMobile is operated by Washington Dental Service Foundation, a nonprofit organization created and partially funded by Delta Dental of Washington.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The SmileMobile has examined and treated more than 30,000 youngsters in communities throughout Washington State.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
