For eight years, students at Montessori Time have been learning about sharing by sponsoring a child through World Vision. Now students can donate funds for livestock to help families become more self-sufficient.

Montessori Time hosts Preschool Crafts & Helping Families Become Self-Sufficient, a benefit event, from 10 a.m. to noon, Nov. 16, at the school, 13125 SE 261st St., Kent.

Children and their parents can decorate jar lights, intended as gifts for family members and other loved ones. All donations go to World Vision. Montessori Time will provide materials free of charge.

The suggested donations are: $8 for one jar, $15 for two, and $20 for three.

The event is open to the public. Siblings are welcome.

Please RSVP at info@montessoritime.com.
