{"id":2149,"date":"2014-10-08T18:13:50","date_gmt":"2014-10-09T01:13:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/k-m-kitchen-crew-a-job-well-done\/"},"modified":"2016-10-22T19:55:31","modified_gmt":"2016-10-23T02:55:31","slug":"k-m-kitchen-crew-a-job-well-done","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/k-m-kitchen-crew-a-job-well-done\/","title":{"rendered":"K-M kitchen crew, a job well done"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>Trillium Employment Services, a nonprofit agency based in Auburn, recognized Teresa Allen for her work with developmentally disabled students in the Kent-Meridian High School cafeteria.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Allen, the kitchen manager, received a framed award on behalf of the kitchen staff in a ceremony Wednesday morning at the school. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Allen\u2019s work has directly contributed to the school\u2019s transition outreach program (TOP), which helps place disabled students in internships and later full-time work to incorporate them into the community.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The award is given to employers who, according to James Wilson with Trillium, \u201creally stand out and are real supportive of their employees.
