Reporter staff<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Nick Perera scored four goals with two assists and Kraig Chiles added a hat trick as the San Diego Sockers routed Seattle Impact FC 14-4 in a Major Arena Soccer League match at the ShoWare Center on Saturday.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n It was the season debut for the expansion Impact.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The Sockers (2-0) are 14-time indoor champions.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Eduardo Velez had two goals and two assists as the Sockers pot together runs of six and five consecutive goals.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Corey Maret, Jamael Cox, Bobby Hurwitz and Mark Cox tallied for the Impact, who started Peter Sliwa in goal (0-1).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Seattle managed to level the score at 1-1 midway through the first quarter. San Diego took control from there, with Perera scoring his second goal of the quarter on a power play.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n San Diego led 4-2 after 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Jesus Molina (1-0), acquired in an offseason trade with the Las Vegas Legends, started in goal and picked up the win in his debut.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The Impact return to action Friday at the Turlock Express. Kickoff is 7:35 p.m. They take on Sacramento at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
