Chris Francis and Taylor Aronson earned the assists.<\/p>\n<p>Francis gave the Winterhawks a 2-0 lead at 6:27 of the second period The T-Birds (14-30-4-4) answered with two goals one minute apart to tie the game 2-2 midway through the second period.<\/p>\n<p>Prab Rai started the T-Bird scoring with his 29th goal of the season at 8:35.<\/p>\n<p>Burke Gallimore tied the game at 9:39 of the period, but it was too little too late.<\/p>\n<p>SATURDAY\u2019S SCORING SUMMARY<\/p>\n<p>First period: 1, Portland, Johansen 18 (Francis, Aronson), 19:30 (sh).
