A sand table and sand digger were purchased with a $3,930 grant from the Kent Sunrise Rotary Club and Rotary District 5030.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\u201cMaking the new playground as accessible as possible was the goal from the start,&#8221; said Parks Director Jeff Watling. \u201cThese two items were originally included in the playground design. But, unfortunately, they were cut in the final budget. We are grateful to Rotary for helping us meet the needs of the community.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Lake Meridian Park is a 16-acre community park.
