Kent Police arrested two people, seized $400,000 in cash and confiscated drugs worth a street value of about $648,000 during a recent bust in Renton.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Detectives learned information about drug trafficking in the Kent area. An investigation led to the Feb. 27 arrest of a 41-year-old Renton man and a 42-year-old Renton woman, said Kent Police spokesman Jarod Kasner.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Police surrounded a residence in the Renton Highlands and executed a search warrant. Police found the following items at the home:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022 Three firearms<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022 3.69 pounds of heroin<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022 13.97 pounds of cocaine<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022 1.76 pounds of marijuana<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022 $400,000 cash<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The man and woman were arrested for investigation of violation of the uniformed controlled substances act, criminal conspiracy for distribution and trafficking of narcotics, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
