Cossu has a background in jazz and rhythm and blues, but also has studied ethnic music from Sudan, Thailand, China, Rumania and Ecuador.<\/p>\n<p>The Brass &amp; Blues band plays from 6-8 p.m. July 8. The band features drums and a tuba as its rhythm section along with a trumpet, flugelhorn, and trombone.<\/p>\n<p>The concerts continue at noon Tuesday and 6 p.m. Wednesday through Aug. 26.
