Kelsey Wilder, a 2012 graduate of Kentridge High School, will perform in Central Washington University’s Central Theatre Ensemble production of “Afghan Women”.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Wilder, a sophomore at CWU, is pursuing a bachelor’s of fine arts-performance degree in the Theatre Arts Department. She is the daughter of Terry and Jimmy Wilder.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
On Nov. 13, there will be a special staged reading of “Afghan Women” at 7:30 p.m. in the Milo Smith Theatre.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The story follows an Afghan woman who fled her homeland during the civil war, but now returns from the United States to found an orphanage. In the ensuing story, her moral code on taking a life is challenged.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
A question and answer session will follow the performance. The event is free and open to the public, however a ticket is required for admission.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
