For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Tacoma Stars goalkeeper Danny Waltman and defender Adam West have been named to the Major Arena Soccer League Team of the Week for week 16, the league announced Tuesday.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n This is Waltman’s second and West’s third Team of the Week selection this season.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Waltman tallied 20 saves on 25 shots and held St. Louis off the score board throughout the first half in Tacoma’s 12-5 victory over the Ambush on Friday. He ranks among the top 10 goalkeepers in the league in minutes (second, 968:25), goals against average (third, 4.83), and save percentage (tied-seventh, .736).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n West leads the Stars in points after contributing one goal and two assists to the winning effort on Friday.
