The community is invited to participate in the eight annual Outpatient Physical Therapy Summer’s End Fun Run on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Kentwood High School, 25800 164th Ave. SE, Covington.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Participants have a choice of a 5- or 10-kilometer fun run that starts at 10 a.m. A 2K fun run for kids begins at 9:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The event includes music, a farmers Market, and food and vendor booths.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Proceeds benefit MultiCare and the Coalition for a Healthy Community.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The fun run is part of the second annual South King Challenge, which consists of five run\/walk events (ET Run, Bear Run, Kent Cornucopia Days, Auburn Winer’s 5K and the Summer’s End Fun Run). The challenge requires participation in four of the events, with those runners receiving recognition, a finisher’s medal and eligibility for prize drawings.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
