For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n The Seattle Thunderbirds will host the first two games of the Western Hockey League playoffs later this month, the team announced Thursday.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The T-Birds play Game 1 of the best-of-seven, first-round series at 7:35 p.m. Friday, March 25, and Game 2 at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at the ShoWare Center.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The T-Birds, riding an eight-game winning streak, lead the U.S. Division with six regular-season games remaining. The T-Birds can finish no worse than second place in the division, ensuring they have home-ice advantage for the opening round of the playoffs.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Seattle’s first-round opponent has yet to be determined. A full first round schedule will be released once an opponent is determined.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
