Seahawks fans can skip weekend traffic and parking costs by taking Sound Transit\u2019s special Sounder service to the Seahawks 1:05 p.m. game on Sunday, Oct. 18, against the Carolina Panthers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Sounder game day service is in addition to regular Link light rail, ST Express, and King County Metro service to and from CenturyLink Field.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Inbound Sounder trains from the south depart Lakewood at 9:50 and 10:30 a.m., and from Sumner at 10:37 a.m. The first train leaving Lakewood is an express service that stops in South Tacoma, Tacoma and Puyallup before continuing directly to Seattle, where it arrives at King Street Station at 10:57 a.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The second train departs Sumner at 10:37 a.m. with stops in Auburn, Kent (10:53 a.m.)<\/a> and Tukwila before reaching Seattle at 11:19 a.m. A third train leaves Lakewood at 10:30 and stops at all southline Sounder stations, including Kent at 11:17 a.m., before arriving at King Street Station at 11:43 a.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The one-way fare between Kent and Seattle is $3.50.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Return trains to Lakewood will depart King Street Station 10, 20 and 45 minutes after the game. An online schedule of Sounder trains serving Seahawks games is available at soundtransit.org\/seahawks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Link light rail runs every 10 minutes on Sunday and serves 13 stations in downtown Seattle, SODO, Beacon Hill, Rainier Valley, Tukwila and SeaTac. Link’s Stadium and International District stations are a short walk from CenturyLink Field.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
