{"id":19210,"date":"2013-11-01T15:47:57","date_gmt":"2013-11-01T22:47:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/becu-to-move-temporarily-to-kent-station-from-top-food-store\/"},"modified":"2016-10-22T10:35:27","modified_gmt":"2016-10-22T17:35:27","slug":"becu-to-move-temporarily-to-kent-station-from-top-food-store","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/business\/becu-to-move-temporarily-to-kent-station-from-top-food-store\/","title":{"rendered":"BECU to move temporarily to Kent Station from TOP Food store"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>With the decision by TOP Food and Drug to close its Kent store, the BECU credit union will move its Neighborhood Financial Center inside the store to a temporary site at Kent Station.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\u201cWe are in the process of finding a new permanent location in the Kent area,\u201d said Adrienne Sharples, BECU Kent manager, in a Nov. 1 media release. \u201cOur goal is to ensure that we do not have any disruption in service to our members while also finding a larger location that will allow us to better serve our growing membership base in the Kent area.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The credit union will close the location within the TOP Food store, 26015 104th Ave. S.E., at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16.\u00a0 It will open a temporary center at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 18 at Kent Station, 417 Ramsay Way, Suite 109.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p><a title=\"food\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/227906531.html\" target=\"_self\">TOP Food announced Oct. 15 it would close stores <\/a>within the next few months in Kent, Auburn and Yakima in an effort to improve its overall business performance.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The new permanent location will not be in a grocery store, but rather, a \u201cstand-alone\u201d Neighborhood Financial Center that will be much larger (in excess of 2,000 square feet) than its current in-store location.
