For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Parents know once school is out, finding healthy activities for teenagers can be a challenge. Teen Camp, offered by Kent Parks and Recreation, provides seventh-, eighth- and ninth-graders a fun and safe experience throughout the summer.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Teen Camp is offered every weekday from June 24 until Aug. 16, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Mill Creek Middle School, 620 N. Central Ave., Kent.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n According to youth and teen program specialist Dave Hobbs, teens can look forward to days filled with a variety of activities, including sports, games and adventures that will keep them active and engaged throughout the summer.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n “We’re especially excited to offer weekly field trips as part of the week’s activities.
