T-Birds fall Sept. 25 to Bruins<\/p>\n
The T-Birds scored the first goal of the night when Jonathan Parker intercepted an outlet pass inside the Bruins\u2019 blue line on the left side. Parker came through the left circle, cut around Chilliwack goalie Mark Friesen and beat him with a forehand. Parker\u2019s second goal of the season, scored on his birthday, was unassisted. Seattle outshot Chilliwack 15-12 in the first period.<\/p>\n
The Bruins took the lead at 9:14 of the second period on a goal by Ryan Howse. Seattle outshot Chilliwack 13-8 in the second period. Seattle goalie Calvin Pickard made 27 saves on 31 shots and his record is now 1-3-0-0.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Winterhawks defeat T-Birds Sept. 26<\/p>\n
The Portland Winterhawks defeated the Thunderbirds 6-1 Saturday night at Memorial Coliseum in Portland.<\/p>\n
Portland outshot Seattle 11-4 in a scoreless first period.The T-Birds tied the game at 17:08 of the second. Jonathan Parker had the puck behind the Portland goal. He centered the puck to Prab Rai in the high slot. Rai cradled the puck and then put a quick snap shot on goal that beat Winterhawks goalie Kurtis Mucha. Seattle goalie Jacob DeSerres made 29 saves on 35 shots and his record is now 0-2-0-0.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
