Kent Police responded to a report of a stabbing and searched for the suspect, a 27-year-old man, who had fled the scene, said police spokesman Jarod Kasner. A K9 unit searched for the man but didn’t find him. Police continue to try to find the man.

“The victim did not have life-threatening injuries and the involved parties did know each other, but the events that led up to the incident are still being investigated,” Kasner said in an email. “This was an event involving specific individuals and not targeted to towards the public.”
