Faccone throws out the ceremonial first pitch. A reception follows. In the event of rain, the dedication moves to 3:45 p.m. inside the school, 140 S. 140th St., Burien.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Faccone coached the Lancers from 1970-2007. His teams won 501 games, seven league championships and two state championships. He won four Coach of the Year awards.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>In 1974, Faccone and his father, Dominic, led the design and construction of the baseball field. Volunteers dedicated countless hours to build the field.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Faccone has coached and taught hundreds of students, including Floyd Bannister who went on to play professional baseball.
