{"id":18513,"date":"2011-03-10T12:21:56","date_gmt":"2011-03-10T20:21:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/suspicious-odor-in-kent-sends-two-to-hospital\/"},"modified":"2016-10-23T11:40:39","modified_gmt":"2016-10-23T18:40:39","slug":"suspicious-odor-in-kent-sends-two-to-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/suspicious-odor-in-kent-sends-two-to-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspicious odor in Kent sends two to hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>Five employees were examined by the Kent Fire Department and two were sent to a local hospital as a precaution after they complained of a strange smell inside a north Kent business at 10:52 a.m. Thursday in the 6300 block of South 199th Place.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Two people were sent to a hospital for various symptoms and three people declined aid, according to a Kent Fire Department media release.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The Kent Fire Department\u2019s Hazardous Materials Response Team took air samples after evacuating the building but was unable to find anything unusual or pinpoint the source of the problem.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Employees were allowed back into the building at about noon.
