Ty Rattie had a hat trick and Brad Ross had two goals to lead the Portland Winterhawks<\/a> to an 11-2 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds<\/a> at Memorial Coliseum Saturday.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The T-Birds will face the Spokane Chiefs Sunday at ShoWare Center at 5:05. Seattle (20-36-1-1) started the day tied for seventh place in the Western Conference Playoff standings with Victoria. Victoria hosted the Prince George Cougars Saturday night in a game that started at 7pm.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Justin Hickman scored for Seattle at 9:22 of the first period when he tipped a Burke Gallimore shot past Portland goalie Brendan Burke.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Marcel Noebels had two goals and Oliver Gabriel, Brendan Liepsic, Chase De Leo and Pearce Eviston also scored for the Winterhawks.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Colin Jacobs had Seattle’s second goal, which came at 17:25 of the third. Shea Theodore had the only assist on the goal.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Portland (40-15-2-1) outshot Seattle 48-39 in the game.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Seattle goalie Daniel Cotton made 37 saves on 48 shots and his record falls to 0-6-0-0.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Burke stopped 37 of 39 shots and improved his record to 4-2-1-1.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n T-Birds single game tickets for the 2011-12 season are available online at the T-Birds website<\/a> and at the ShoWare Center box office.
