The City of Kent now reports that 42nd Avenue South from South 262nd Street to Hampton Way and 46th Avenue South from South 262nd Street to Carnaby Way are now both open. City Street crews have cleared them for traffic. These and other streets may still have some residual ice in places. Please be aware of this and drive carefully.<\/p>\n

Due to icy conditions on these steep neigborhood streets, 42nd Avenue South is closed to general traffic from South 262nd Street to Hampton Way and 46th Avenue South is closed from South 262nd Street to Carnaby Way. They will be re-opened as soon as they can be cleared for safe travel.<\/p>\n
