{"id":17901,"date":"2008-10-26T15:35:29","date_gmt":"2008-10-26T22:35:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/state-school-superintendents-debate-tuesday-in-kent\/"},"modified":"2016-10-23T13:25:31","modified_gmt":"2016-10-23T20:25:31","slug":"state-school-superintendents-debate-tuesday-in-kent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/state-school-superintendents-debate-tuesday-in-kent\/","title":{"rendered":"State school superintendents debate Tuesday in Kent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kent-Meridian High School will play host to a debate between the two candidates vying for the top education job in the state.<\/p>\n<p>Superintendent of Public Instruction Terry Bergeson and challenger Randy Dorn are both scheduled to attend a debate at the school&#8217;s East Wing Auditorium Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The event is hosted by the Minority Executive Directors Coalition and the Equitable Opportunity Caucus.<\/p>\n<p>The event is co-sponsored by the South King County Council of Human Services.<\/p>\n<p>Bergeson was elected in 2004 to her third term as superintendent.
