The Kent School District presents Beyond High School on Feb. 5, an event\u00a0to help families navigate education options after high school.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The program runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Kentridge High School,\u00a012430 SE 208th St.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

“We’re committed to preparing our students for success in the 21st century,” said Superintendent Edward Lee Vargas. “By providing this extra opportunity to learn more about college options, we can help prepare all students for their futures.”<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Students and parents will receive information about the variety of options available for students after high school, such as two- and four-year colleges, technical schools, military academies, military service, apprenticeships and more. More than 80 institutions will have representatives available to answer questions. Attendees can participate in breakout sessions on a variety of topics.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
