{"id":17607,"date":"2010-01-08T11:13:44","date_gmt":"2010-01-08T19:13:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/dot-workers-find-body-near-i-5\/"},"modified":"2016-10-22T08:35:37","modified_gmt":"2016-10-22T15:35:37","slug":"dot-workers-find-body-near-i-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/dot-workers-find-body-near-i-5\/","title":{"rendered":"DOT workers find body near I-5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A decomposed body was found Thursday by Washington State Department of Transportation workers clearing brush along Interstate 5, about 2 miles south of Kent in unincorporated Auburn.<\/p>\n<p>The workers found the body at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday near the 3100 block of South 298th Street, just east of Federal Way, according to a King County Sheriff&#8217;s Office media release.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the advanced state of decomposition, it was impossible to tell the gender or cause of death, according to the sheriff&#8217;s office.
