Volunteers are wanted by the city of Kent on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 16 to help clean up litter along the Interurban Trail.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The event runs from 1-3 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Volunteers will meet at the Kent Lions Skate Park on West Smith Street near Lincoln Avenue downtown. Parking is available at the Park-and-Ride lot next to the skate park.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

City parks officials will provide trash bags and a limited number of pick sticks. Volunteers should dress for the weather,\u00a0 wear sturdy boots or shoes, bring work gloves and a bottle of water if they wish.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
