Three men were injured in a shooting Wednesday in Des Moines between two separate groups at the Silverwood Park Apartments.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Des Moines Police responded to the shooting at about 11:45 a.m. Wednesday to the apartment complex in the 23000 block of 30th Avenue South, according to a Des Moines Police media release.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Officers found a 52-year-old man in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to the head. He was conscious and able to talk with officers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
While responding to the shooting, another Des Moines police officer was flagged down at the intersection of South 216th Street and Pacific Highway South by a vehicle that had two shooting victims inside. Police discovered a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder and a 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Paramedics transported all three gunshot victims to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Police determined that an altercation started between two groups in the apartment complex parking lot and gunshots were exchanged.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Officers have identified all of the people involved in the shooting and continue to look into what caused the conflict. Police have not yet made any arrests.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
