Volunteers should bring work gloves and a shovel if they have one, wear sturdy shoes or boots and dress for the weather, as the event is held rain or shine. Pre-registration is required by June 2.<\/p>\n<p>To register, please visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Kentwaparks.com\">www.Kentwaparks.com,<\/a> click on volunteer, call 253-856-5110, or email vandrews@ci.kent.wa.us.<\/p>\n<p>Parking is available across the street at Kent Covenant Church. Orientation is at 9 a.m., with coffee and hot chocolate donated by Starbucks.  Farrington Court will provide a grilled hot dog lunch to volunteers at the conclusion of the event.<\/p>\n<p>At 130 acres, Clark Lake Park is one of Kent\u2019s largest open spaces.
