The Everett Silvertips shut out the Seattle Thunderbirds 5-0 Saturday night at Comcast Arena in Everett.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The T-Birds record is now 11-5-0-2. Their next game is at 7:35 p.m. Friday against the Victoria Royals at the ShoWare Center.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Everett (11-3-2-0) went in front 1-0 53 seconds into the first when Ben Betker’s left point shot found the back of the Seattle net. Tyler Sandhu had the only assist.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The Silvertips extended the lead to 2-0 at 13:02 of the first on a goal from Ivan Nikolishin. Noah Juulsen and Carson Stadnyk were credited with the assists.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
