Kent Police detectives have learned of two additional incidents of vandalism and burglary to neighboring businesses that occurred during the same time period as the damage to a Kent Hindu temple.

Video evidence from businesses indicates a group of young men might be connected to the crimes.

One business was the Subway restaurant where a glass door was shattered and chips were taken from the business, according to a Kent Police media release. The second location was a vacant office space near the Subway.

In addition, the ongoing investigation revealed that the previously reported graffiti to the building of the word “Fear” was old damage and not related to the Feb. 26 incident.

Police are following up on leads generated through canvassing of the area, and the collection and analyzing of video. Video from multiple locations shows a group of young men associated with a vehicle and on foot in the area that appear to be involved in committing the crimes.

Investigators will continue to analyze the video and are hopeful that they will be able to identify the suspect(s) soon.
