For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Kent Police are investigating the death of man whose body was found at a transient camp Saturday.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Detectives have a person of interest and are following up on available leads.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Officers, who were dispatched to a call at 2:40 p.m. of “suspicious circumstances,” arrived to discover a deceased man with an obvious gunshot wound. The body was found at a remote location down a long drive in a wooded area near the 22200 block of 88th Avenue Southeast. Kent Police said they were unaware the camp existed.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The death is believed to be related to a homicide that occurred on Friday in the same basic area, police said. A deceased woman sustained obvious gunshot wounds in Friday’s incident, police said.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The victims in each case have been tentatively identified but their names will not be released pending confirmation and notification of their families.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n A suspect in these cases has been described as a white male, with short reddish hair and unshaven appearance. The suspect may be riding a dark colored bicycle with a basket over the rear wheel and was last seen wearing a white tank top. The weapon in these cases has not been recovered.
