State.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The decision not only invalidates Initiative 1240, but also unnecessarily calls into question the constitutionality of a wide range of other state educational programs, according to a state Attorney General&#8217;s Office media release. These important programs range from Running Start to Washington State Skills Centers that provide career and technical education to high school students.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Ferguson discussed his decision to file the motion with Gov. Jay Inslee at a meeting Friday morning.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Ferguson will provide more detail regarding the arguments to be made in the motion when it is completed. The motion will be filed by Sept. 24.
