For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Pacific Raceways returns to its drag racing heritage on Saturday, May 10 as a full field of Funny Cars is expected to compete in a Chicago-style format, part of a Super Saturday featuring NHRA class racers and the Swift Tool ET Series.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n In advance of the drag event, the raceway hosts a Fan Fest at The Sports Page on Thursday, May 8, beginning at 5 p.m. Funny Cars will be on display as well as some local hot rods and race cars. The Sports Page is at 28082 Auburn Way N.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Headlining the Funny Car contingent will be Kim Parker’s 2013 Northwest BB\/FC Association Champion “Hell on Wheels” and Greg Howland’s 2010 Champion “Zeus.” The BB Funny Cars are known for their long, smoky burnouts and competitive side-by-side racing.
