A new walk-in medical facility has come to Kent.<\/p>\n

The Regional Medical Clinic at Kent opened its doors for business April 5, from office space at 6719 S. 211th St., Suite 102.<\/p>\n

Operated through the Auburn Regional Medical Group and staffed by nurse practitioner Katie Amundson, the facility offers a full range of primary-care services, including illness and injury treatment, wellness exams and vaccinations, sports physicals, women\u2019s health services and chronic-illness treatment, including depression, blood-pressure issues and thyroid problems.<\/p>\n

The center also offers a full range of occupational-medicine services, including work-certification exams, physical and occupational rehabilitation, drug-screening services, DOT physical exams and workplace immunizations.<\/p>\n

The facility had its grand opening April 19, complete with a ribbon cutting ceremony and speech Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke, and a gathering of the area\u2019s top business movers and shakers, including Auburn Hospital Chief of Operations Robert Dickens and Andrea Keikkala, executive director of the Kent Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n

The clinic has three exam rooms, and by July should have Xray services available as well.<\/p>\n

Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.<\/p>\n
