Here is the Skate America ice skating competition schedule for Oct. 19-21 at the ShoWare Center in Kent, a part of the 2012 International Skating Union Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Fifty-two skaters from around the world will compete in the three-day event.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Friday, Oct. 19<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n SESSION 1 – 7-10 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Pairs Short Program and Men’s Short Program<\/p>\n<\/p>\n High-flying pairs action and men’s competition<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Saturday, Oct. 20<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n SESSION 2 – 12:30-3:25 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Ladies Short Program and Short Dance<\/p>\n<\/p>\n World ice dancing champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White of Team USA, also features some of the top female skaters in the world<\/p>\n<\/p>\n SESSION 3 – 7-10:35 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Men’s Free Skate (Finals) and Pairs Free Skate (Finals)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Champions will be crowned in men’s and pairs<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Sunday, Oct. 21<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n SESSION 4 – 11:45-3 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Free Dance (Finals) and Ladies Free Skate (Finals)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Gold medals for the ladies and ice dancers<\/p>\n<\/p>\n SESSION 5 – 6 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Smucker’s Skating Spectacular<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The top five place-winners in each discipline will perform a two-hour show in a theatrical setting without any rules or judges<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
