On Saturday, police found a man who had been shot to death in the same basic area, according to a police media release.<\/p>\n<\/p>\nOn Tuesday, police spokesman Jarod Kasner released the following statement in response to several questions about the killings:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no updated information to be released at this time,\u201d Kasner said. \u201cI will tell you that this is the Kent Police Department\u2019s top priority and our detectives are diligently working through all the information.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The identifications of the two victims has not yet been released by the police or the King County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office, although police said they have tentatively identified the man and the woman.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Police are looking for a person of interest in the killings, which they consider to be related.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
A suspect in these cases has been described as a white male, with short reddish hair and an unshaven appearance. The suspect may be riding a dark-colored bicycle with a basket over the rear wheel and was last seen wearing a white tank top. A weapon in these cases has not been recovered. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached by the public.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Police said they were unaware that the homeless camp existed. The site includes several tents.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
