Candidate filing is just a few weeks away. King County Elections<\/a> is hosting a complimentary two-hour workshop to discuss information related to filing for office in King County.<\/p>\n No reservations are needed and members of the public, candidates, campaign managers, treasurers and staff are invited to attend the King County Election 2010 Candidate Workshop. The workshop takes place 2-4 p.m. May 19, at the King County Elections office, 9010 East Marginal Way S., Tukwila 98108.<\/p>\n Following the workshop, from 4-5 p.m., elections staff will provide a 1-hour informational session explaining how ballots are designed.<\/p>\n Elections staff will cover the following topics: filing for office in King County, voters\u2019 pamphlet information, campaign sign regulations, and basic public disclosure requirements.<\/p>\n To appear on the fall ballot, all candidates must file a declaration of candidacy online, in person or by mail no later than Friday, June 11 by 4:30 p.m. For more information about candidate filing, please visit www.kingcounty.gov\/elections\/referenceresources\/candidatefiling.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n a href=”http:\/\/www.kingcounty.gov\/elections\/aboutus\/directions.aspx”>Click here for directions.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Candidate filing is just a few weeks away.
