Assault<\/b><\/p>\n

A woman reported being pelted with onions following an argument with her husband May 26 at a home in the 24700 block of 117th Place Southeast. The vegetable attack came after the two became embroiled in an argument about a tree he was trimming.<\/p>\n

The woman had returned home from clothes shopping to find her husband trimming the tree. An argument started over the tree, as well as about a party the husband was planning, according to the police report.<\/p>\n

The woman told police that her husband then became angry and threw the clothes she had just bought. He then allegedly hit her in the head and arm with a dustpan, threw onions at her and grabbed her arm. The woman then went inside and called 911.<\/p>\n

Police noticed scratches on the woman\u2019s hand and wrist. Officers arrested the man for investigation fourth-degree assault domestic violence.<\/p>\n

The man told police his wife became upset at him pruning the tree and threw onions at him, so he threw a dustpan at her. The officers noted that there were smashed onions on the porch.<\/p>\n

Robbery<\/b><\/p>\n

A man took two 12-packs of Heineken beer May 28 from a service station store in the 15200 block of Southeast 272nd Street, after reportedly telling the clerk, \u201cIf you call the cops, my friend will shoot you.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to reports, the man walked into the store, grabbed the beer, walked to the counter and twice told the clerk a friend would shoot him before he walked out of the store with the beer, according to the police report.<\/p>\n

The clerk called 911, but the man had left when officers arrived. The clerk told police he did not see anyone else with the man. The beer was valued at about $32.<\/p>\n

The clerk described the man as a middle-aged white man, balding, with short black hair. He wore tan pants, a tan shirt and a black sport coat. He was clean shaven. Police closed the case due to a lack of suspect information.<\/p>\n

Assault<\/b><\/p>\n

Kent Police arrested three women in connection with a fight 1:30 a.m. May 31 at a bar in the 24400 block of Russell Road South.<\/p>\n

A bartender called 911 to report a woman had been assaulted inside the bar and that a fight broke out in the parking lot outside the bar.<\/p>\n

As many as 10 people were outside the bar when police arrived.<\/p>\n

After several interviews with witnesses and those involved in the incident, police arrested one woman for investigation of fourth-degree assault. Officers also arrested two women on investigation of violation of anti-harassment orders, according to the police report.<\/p>\n

Two of the women reportedly involved in the fight have had an ongoing feud for more than a year over another woman.<\/p>\n

The two women no longer are friends and a fight broke out when they ran into each other in the bar.<\/p>\n

The woman, arrested on an assault charge, allegedly grabbed the other woman around the throat and pushed her against a wall. The woman\u2019s throat had red marks and scratches, police said.<\/p>\n

Police arrested the woman with the marks on her throat for allegedly violating an anti-harassment order against another woman, a former girlfriend, also present at the bar.<\/p>\n

Drugs<\/b><\/p>\n

A man told police that two other men attacked him, before getting arrested himself for investigation of marijuana possession 2:30 p.m. May 26 near a bus stop at Southeast 248th Street and 104th Avenue Southeast.<\/p>\n

The man told police, \u201cThey took all of my money and I don\u2019t have anything left in my pockets,\u201d according to the report. The man then put his hands in his pants pockets and pulled out what he had left.<\/p>\n

In one hand, was a cell phone and a watch. In the other hand were coins and what appeared to be a clump of marijuana. Police field-tested the substance and it tested positive for marijuana.<\/p>\n

The man told police he bought the marijuana from a couple of men and didn\u2019t think he received enough of it. A fight broke out as the men got off the bus. The bus driver told police the man who claimed to be attacked reportedly had broken a window on the bus door when he tried to get back on the bus through the closed door.<\/p>\n

Fugitive<\/b><\/p>\n

Kent Police received a tip about a fugitive and arrested a man in Federal Way for a warrant out of Idaho for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Police showed up at the Federal Way home and found the man sleeping on a couch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
