Perry was appointed to the council in 2008 and elected to a four-year term in 2009. Neither woman ran for reelection in November.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Albertson has been nominated by the 33rd Legislative District Democrats to fill out State Rep. Dave Upthegrove&#8217;s term in the Legislature. The Metropolitan King County Council is expected to confirm Albertson&#8217;s House nomination in early January.
