Gregoire&#8217;s car sideswiped near Des Moines on I-5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>Earlier this afternoon the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.governor.wa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Gov. Chris Gregoire&#8217;s<\/a> official vehicle was sideswiped by another vehicle while she was returning from an event in the Seattle area.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The Governor was not injured nor was the other driver.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The collision occurred on Interstate 5 near state Route 516 in Des Moines, at approximately 2 pm.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>As always, the Governor was accompanied by a security detail from the state patrol. Other troopers responded to the scene for the collision investigation and the governor has returned to Olympia.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The governor is transported in a variety of vehicles, today she was traveling in a Suburban.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this afternoon the Gov.
