King County \u2013\u00a0in partnership with the U.S Department of State \u2013\u00a0is helping residents apply for their passport.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Four King County Community Service Centers will be open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday for “Passport Day in the USA.” The special event will help residents who might not otherwise be able to apply for a passport in person during standard workday hours.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The four centers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Maleng Regional Justice Center CSC, 401 Fourth Ave. N., Room 1A, Kent<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Covington CSC, 27331 172nd Ave. SE, Suite 116, Covington<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Cottage Lake CSC, 19145 NE Woodinville-Duvall Road, Woodinville<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Vashon CSC, 19021 Vashon Hwy. SW, Vashon<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Since 2010, all U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book when re-entering the United States by air. In addition, U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports-of-entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

No appointment is needed for services on “Passport Day in the USA.” However, services at all four Community Service Centers during this special event will be limited to passports only. Expedited processing is available for an additional fee.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
