The Kent Black Action Commission invites all who are interested in becoming a part of this year’s Juneteenth celebration to attend a planning meeting on Saturday, March 26, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Kent Commons, 525 Fourth Ave.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Organizers intend to make this year’s fifth annual KBAC Juneteenth Celebration & Festival their best yet. The celebration is scheduled for June 18-19 at Morrill Meadows Park.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
KBAC is looking for help on the following committees: food, entertainment and program, vendors, event security and logistics (setup and breakdown)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Organizers welcome volunteers who live, work or attend school in Kent or the South King County region to join them<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
New members are welcome.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
